Voters Forum scheduled on October 5

voteMaumee Valley Chapter Partners for Inclusion (formerly Maumee Valley Civitan) and the Toledo-Lucas County Commission on Disabilities will host a Voters Forum on October 5. Representatives from the six countywide levy issues are asked to make presentation on their levy requests with an emphasis on how passage of the levy would enhance the lives of persons with disabilities.

The Voters Forum will be held at the Sanger Branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Library from 6:00 to 7:30. Other organizations include: the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the Ability Center of Toledo, Camp Courageous and the Arc of Northwest Ohio, People First of Toledo, the League of Women Voters, Harbor Quest Program and Josina Lott Residential & Community Services.

The common passion members feel toward service to individuals with developmental disabilities has fueled the development of Partners for Inclusion, formerly Maumee Valley Civitan, into a strong, vibrant service club. Since its beginnings in 2006, the club has earned several international and state awards for its programs, website, and club development.
